The recent crisis in subtitling at Channel 4 has highlighted how vital subtitles are. We have all come together to make our voices heard and show broadcasters, the TV regulator (Ofcom), the government and the general public why accessibility must be a priority.

We don’t just want a fix to the problems we have seen over the last few months, we want more. More accessible content so that we can enjoy TV in the same way as everyone else – including on on-demand services like Amazon Prime and All4.

Share your story to help us show broadcasters, Ofcom, and government why they must take action.

We may use your story in our communications with broadcasters, Ofcom and government, or to raise awareness of our Subtitle it! campaign on social media and in the press, but we will never use it without checking you’re happy first.

Tell us about yourself.

We will use this information to get in touch if we want to share your story more widely.

On the next page you will be able to tell us more about the anger and frustration you feel when TV and on-demand services aren't accessible.
